10 reasons why you should choose South Shore "Fitness To You" in-home training over "one to one" studio training.
1.) Convenience - I come directly to your home, no preparing yourself and driving to a fitness studio and back.
2.) Privacy - What could be more private than the comforts of your own home?
3.) Personal Attention - Although our actual workout time may last 45 to 60 minutes, I space my clients no less than two hours apart so I'm not running out the door to get to my next client. We'll have time to talk about your program, nutrition, motivation, etc..
4.) Child at Home? - If You're a mom, no need to call a babysitter, we can perform our workout AND keep your eye on your kids.
5.) Consistency - You'll always have ME as a trainer, no substitute trainers that aren't familiar with your routine or history.
6.) No Contracts - My goal is for you to see results, NOT to lock you in to a lengthy multi-session contract with a large up front payment. With South Shore "Fitness To You", you pay by the session.
7.) Cancellation Policy - Let's be realistic! From time to time, a work related issue or family situation will arise and you may have to cancel your session at the last minute. I understand the difficulty of balancing work and family and as a result my policy is NOT to charge a cancellation fee for these circumstances.
8.) Equipment Access - There is a limited amount of equipment that you will need, (Stability ball, dumbbells). My instruction and training will provide an intense workout that is results oriented with specific needs in mind. Furthermore, you will develop the confidence to workout on your own so you will always have access to the equipment. (At "one to one" studios you have no access to the workout equipment on the days you are not scheduled.)
9.) Undivided Attention - You have my full attention. No distractions, no cellphones, no interruptions!
10.) Accessability - You can call or email me anytime! Whether it's to talk about your workout routine, nutrition or to reschedule our workout time. I'm there!
FAQ'S
Q: What will take place during my free initial consultation? A: Prior to your initial consultation, I will e-mail or fax you a client profile/health screening form. Filling this out, prior to our consultation, will give me information concerning you, what your goals are and what you have done in the past concerning fitness. Secondly, the health-screening portion will give me information about your medical history and depending on the result of that, a follow-up with a physician may be suggested or required (along with a medical clearance) before training can begin. I will also answer any and all questions with regards to training procedures, policies, rates, etc.
Q: What will take place during my first workout session? A: According to your desired fitness goals, I will take you through your first resistance/strength workout, but first, I have to record your beginning measurements. This will include: · Body weight · Target heart rate zone · Body fat percentage · Body mass index
These measurements will act as your beginning baseline in order to evaluate your progress toward your desired goal.
Q: I do not own any exercise equipment, is that a problem? A: Not at all, I am prepared to bring all equipment to your home. This equipment includes, but is not limited to; dumbbells, stability ball, resistance bands, core ball, medicine ball, exercise mat, etc. You will be amazed at the intense workout I can provide with this equipment. If you do have some home exercise equipment that you prefer to use, rest assured that I would include that equipment in your program design.
Q: Will I be required to exercise on my own as well? A: Yes, exercise should be a daily activity for everybody. I may meet with you one to three times per week but you should still be exercising on your own. This may involve simply power walking or working out with some of the types of equipment I will bring to your home. An ideal fitness regimen should include thirty minutes of exercise, three to six times per week in order to achieve good physical condition.
